An empowered birth for you and your birth partner


I'm going to help you change your mindset about birth, by normalising the birth process and work on unlearning all the fear based stories and comments we hear from friends, family and the media.

I'll chew your ear off, about the importance of feeling safe and supported in a relaxed birth environment and how to create this (very important for a positive birth experience).


You will come away with tools to be able to cope with the intensity of birth and to overcome any fears or anxiety you may have.


Affirmations, visualisations, relaxation and self hypnosis help to remain focussed, relax and to release and let go to whatever turn birth might take.


Self hypnosis is particularly helpful in getting into a relaxed state quickly, by using anchors (which may be a word, smell, sound, touch etc that you have been conditioned to relax to).


And, very importantly, your birth partner will be so well trained in how to help you, by helping you use all the tools, particularly, when reaching transition or tough points in the birth. And if they're not keen yet, I know so many Dads who have initially not been wrapt at the prospect of spending two Sundays going to a Hypnowhat class (my husband included), but I could give you their phone numbers, and I could guarantee THEY'D now be happy to chew your ear off about Hypnobirthing ;))
